Preschool & Pre-K

Founded in 1966, the Preschool is sponsored by the Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church as a service to the entire community. The Christian program is based on the philosophy that “All children are a gift from God” (Psalm 127:3). The staff pledges themselves to “make little people feel like big people” by listening, praising, helping, respecting, loving, and caring.

The Preschool is in session during the school year (end of August-end of May). Summer Camp is available in June and July. 

Ward Parkway Preschool is a founding member of the Christian Early Childhood Association in Kansas City and a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
